A major part of FlowerKnows campaign in Japan, the #FlowerKnowsGirl TikTok Hashtag Challenge planned and executed by MoldBreaking successfully garnered over five million user-generated videos within two weeks. Within the challenge, AR Branded Effects, original score, and original dance were created to build a wholesome and fun branded experience, on top of which prizes stimulated furthermore participation.
TikTok users used the "FlowerKnows" AR sticker that transformed their surroundings, danced to the music "CherryLove", and wore makeup effects that corresponded to FlowerKnows new series. Users whose entries are top in the contest have the opportunity to win FlowerKnows giveaways, as well as the chance to appear on a big poster along with Sakura Miyawaki in Tokyo's Harajyuku station.
The TikTok contest poster launched on August 30, and is generating a new round of buzz.
